Overview
Take a leisurely boat ride along the Mekong Delta and visit An Khanh on this 9-hour tour. See Vinh Trang Pagoda, have lunch in an orchard garden and listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals. Ride in a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees.
What to Expect
You will be picked up from your hotel at approximately 8am to begin your tour. Upon arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a leisurely boat ride along the river and view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank.
Proceed to Tortoise Islet and enjoy a delicious lunch in the orchard garden.
Then you will ride to An Khanh. Less touristy than Ben Tre, here you will find peace and tranquility as you cruise along on a hand-rowed sampan along natural canals. Treat yourself to seasonal fruit and honey tea as you listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals.
Enjoy the idyllic rural lifestyle of the locals as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. You can even try amazing coconut candy. At the end of your tour, meet your bus for your return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at approximately 5pm.
